Install Whispyr

Install Whispyr on your phone if you want reminder and new-lead notifications even when the browser is closed.

Use the correct browser before you start:

• iPhone or iPad: use Safari.
• Android: use Google Chrome.

Do not install Whispyr from WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, Samsung Internet, Firefox, Edge, or any in-app browser. Those browsers can create confusing home-screen icons, and notification setup may not work correctly.

iPhone and iPad

Requires iOS or iPadOS 16.4 or newer.

1. Open Safari.
2. Go to whispyrai.com.
3. Sign in to Whispyr.
4. Tap the Share button. It looks like a square with an arrow pointing up.
5. Tap Add to Home Screen.
6. Confirm the name is Whispyr, then tap Add.
7. Close Safari.
8. Open Whispyr from the new home-screen icon.
9. Go to Settings > User > Notifications.
10. Tap Enable push notifications.
11. When iPhone asks for notification permission, tap Allow.

You are set up when Whispyr opens without the Safari address bar and the notifications page says push notifications are active on this device.

Android

Use Google Chrome. Update Chrome from the Play Store first if it is old.

1. Open Chrome.
2. Go to whispyrai.com.
3. Sign in to Whispyr.
4. Open Chrome's menu by tapping the three dots in the top-right corner.
5. Tap Install app.
6. If you do not see Install app, tap Add to Home screen instead.
7. Tap Install.
8. Open Whispyr from the new home-screen icon or app drawer.
9. Go to Settings > User > Notifications.
10. Tap Enable push notifications.
11. When Android asks for notification permission, tap Allow.

You are set up when Whispyr opens as its own app, not as a Chrome tab, and the notifications page says push notifications are active on this device.

If you installed from the wrong browser

If Whispyr says the installed app is running from an unsupported browser, reinstall it from the correct browser.

1. Delete the current Whispyr icon from your home screen.
2. On iPhone or iPad, open whispyrai.com in Safari. On Android, open whispyrai.com in Google Chrome.
3. Sign in.
4. Install Whispyr again using the steps above.
5. Open the new Whispyr icon.
6. Go to Settings > User > Notifications and enable push notifications.

Troubleshooting

I do not see Add to Home Screen on iPhone

Scroll to the bottom of the Safari share menu and tap Edit Actions. Enable Add to Home Screen, go back to the share menu, then tap Add to Home Screen.

I do not see Install app on Android

Make sure you are in Google Chrome, not another browser or an in-app browser. If Chrome shows Add to Home screen instead, tap that. If neither option appears, update Chrome from the Play Store and reload Whispyr.

Whispyr still opens inside a browser tab

You are opening the website, not the installed app. Close the browser and open Whispyr from the home-screen icon or app drawer.

The Enable push notifications button fails

Check that you opened Whispyr from the installed icon, not a browser tab. Then check the device notification settings and make sure notifications are allowed for Whispyr.
